On May 5, 2023, the "2023 Silicon Carbide Key Equipment, Process, and Other New Semiconductor Technology Development Forum" was grandly held in Changsha.

At present, China has formed a complete industrial chain in the field of third-generation semiconductor materials, led by silicon carbide and gallium nitride. It has also achieved partial domestic substitution in terms of materials, equipment, and process technology. To achieve complete domestic autonomy and control of key silicon carbide equipment and process technology, it is still necessary for all upstream and downstream parties in the industry to strengthen cooperation and work together to overcome difficulties.
